3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
4 TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH DELTA DENTAL
5 PLAN OF ARKANSAS FOR DENTAL COVERAGE FOR
6 CITY EMPLOYEES FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
7 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2000.

9 WHEREAS, Delta Dental Plan of Arkansas has provided dental insurance
10 coverage to City of Little Rock employees since 1985; and
11 WHEREAS, Delta Dental submitted a renewal proposal for coverage
12 effective January 1, 2000.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
14 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the contract with Delta
16 Dental Plan of Arkansas for insurance coverage for City employees for a twelve
17 month period beginning January 1, 2000.
18 SECTION 2. Funding for this project has been included in the proposed
19 2000 budget.
20 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
21 adoption.
