4 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATES, TIMES AND
5 LOCATIONS FOR NEIGHBORHOOD PLANNING MEETINGS
6 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FY 2000 AND FY 2001
7 CDBG, HOME, AND ESG PROGRAM BUDGETS.

9 WHEREAS, in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
10 Development (HUD) regulations, the City of Little Rock is required to comply with our local
11 Citizen participation Plan as part of the Consolidated Planning Process for budgeting HUD
12 grant funds; and
13 WHEREAS, this action complies with our local Plan, which exceeds the meeting
14 requirements established by HUD regulations.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 SECTION 1. The Board of Directors will conduct public hearings during the
18 week of January 24 -28, 2000, (in accordance with Attachment 1) to solicit citizen
19 comments and requests for development of the FY 2000 and FY 2001 CDBG Home
20 and ESG program budgets.
21 SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of these public
22 hearings; in addition, the City Manager is directed to assure that these public
23 hearings are prominently advertised on the City's cable television access channel.
24 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
25 adoption.
