A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THE REMAINING PORTIONS
OF THE RIGHT -OF -WAY OF CANDLEWOOD DRIVE, A STREET
WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PURSUANT TO
AUTHORITY UNDER ARK. CODE ANN. § 14 -54 -104 (MICHIE 1987).

WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of little
Rock, Arkansas, on the 9th day of November, 1999, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and
abandon the remaining portions of the right -of -way of Candlewood Drive, a street within the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to its authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104 (Michie
1987), said street right -of -way being described as follows:
ALL RIGHT -OF -WAY OF CANDLEWOOD DRIVE LYING IN THE SE'/4 SEV4; AND
THE SOUTH 10.0 FEET OF THE NE'A SE1 /4; SECTION 18, T -2 -N, R -13 -W,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, SHOWN ON THAT CERTAIN PLAT RECORDED IN
PLAT BOOR 18, PAGE 6, IN THE OFFICE OF THE CIRCUIT CLERK OF
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS; AND
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall reserve and retain the right to use, and
allow others to use, the lands comprising said street right -of -way in its entirety as a public utility
and drainage easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held at the meeting of the Board of
Directors in the Board of Directors' Chamber, Second Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham Street,
Little Rock, Arkansas, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 7th day of DPrember -11999.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of
Little Rock.
