3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
4 TO AUTHORIZE GC &C TRANSPORTATION TO OPERATE 664
5 FIVE (5) ADDITIONAL VANS FOR NON - EMERGENCY
6 MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION.

8 WHEREAS, GC &C currently operates ten (10) vans for non - emergency medical
9 transportation; and
10 WHEREAS, five additional vans are needed as a market has been discovered for
11 this type of service.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to authorize GC &C Transportation
15 to operate five (5) additional vans for non - emergency medical transportation.
16 SECTION 2. This service will allow more individuals in need of non - emergency
17 medical transportation to receive necessary medical care.
18 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
19 adoption.
