A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT PULASKI
ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY ALLIANCE, INC., TO PROVIDE
SERVICES TO WELFARE TO WORK ELIGIBLE CLIENTS; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock was awarded a $5,000,000 grant from the United
States Department of Labor to provide Welfare to Work services to Pulaski County residents;
and,
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1999, the City of Little Rock issued a Request for Proposal
to solicit Case Management support services to assist Welfare to Work eligible clients; and,
WHEREAS, after reviewing proposals from five responding agencies in a competitive
bidding process, the selection committee recommends a contract award to Pulaski Enterprise
Community Alliance, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for Case Management services is awarded to Pulaski Enterprise
Community Alliance, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $413,280.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contract negotiations with
Pulaski Enterprise Community Alliance, Inc., for Welfare to Work Case Management (Bid #99-
358) for an amount not to exceed $413,280.
