6 AFFORDABLE HOME AT 2908 SOUTH HARRISON STREET

8 IN THE OAK FOREST INITIATIVE HOME FUNDED PROJECT
9 AREA.

11 WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Oak Forest Initiative, the CDBG and Housing
12 Programs Division, Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department, supports
13 construction of single family residences for sale to low income households.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
15 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute two contracts with John T.
17 Wright Construction Company, the lowest responsible bidder, to construct a new affordable
18 home at 2908 South Harrison for $64,500, and 2912 South Harrison for $65,000 in the Oak
19 Forest Initiative HOME funded project area.
20 SECTION 2. Funds are available from the previously approved HOME (Federal
21 funding) Oak Forest Initiative Project.
22 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
23 adoption.
