A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH PHILLIPS CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY FOR $64,800 TO CONSTRUCT A NEW Gvv
AFFORDABLE HOME AT 2904 SOUTH HARRISON STREET
IN THE OAK FOREST INITIATIVE HOME FUNDED PROJECT
AREA.
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Oak Forest Initiative, the CDBG and Housing
Programs Division, Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department, supports
construction of single family residences for sale to low income households.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with Phillips
Construction Company, the lowest responsible bidder, to construct a new affordable home
at 2904 South Harrison, in the Oak Forest Initiative HOME funded project area.
SECTION 2. Funds are available from the previously approved HOME (Federal
funding) Oak Forest Initiative Project.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
