RESOLUTION NO. 10 , 638
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES WITH ARTIST
PLACE, LLC., FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE PARK PLACE
APARTMENTS, LOCATED AT 916 -924 COMMERCE STREET,
IN THE APPROVED DOWNTOWN TNEP AREA.

WHEREAS, the Park Place Apartments project application, submitted by Artist
Place, LLC, proposes to completely renovate the building, located at 916 -924 Commerce
Street, into a total of 27 rental units; and
WHEREAS, the project will provide approximately 4 studio /l bath, 10 1-
bedroom/1 bath, 2 1- bedroom/2 bath, 4 2- bedroom/1.5 bath, 5 2- bedroom/2 bath, and 2 3-
bedroom/2 bath units, at a total project cost of $965,538, with units renting from between
$425 to $1,000 per month.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for services
with the Artist Place, LLC, for the renovation of the Park Place Apartments, located at
916 -924 Commerce Street, in the approved Downtown TNEP area.
SECTION 2. This action authorizes a $61,740 contract for services between the
City of Little Rock, and the Artist Place, LLC, to support renovation activities of the Park
Place Apartments.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
