3 A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AVAILABLE
4 TARGETED NEIGHBORHOOD ENHANCEMENT
5 PLAN (TNEP) FUNDS TO SPECIFIED
6 CATEGORIES. 508

8 WHEREAS, the Targeted Neighborhood Enhancement Program (TNEP) was
9 enacted by State Legislation in 1997, allowing cities to allocate local resources to
10 address residential revitalization in designated neighborhoods, following plan
11 development and adoption; and
12 WHEREAS, a total of $1 million was allocated in FUTURE Little Rock for
13 TNEP program implementation.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
15 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to allocate available targeted
17 Neighborhood Enhancement Plan (TNEP) funds as listed below:

19 Technical Assistance $ 50,000.00
20 0 Multi - Family [All TNEP Areas] $ 150,000.00
21 a Central High TNEP $ 200,000.00
22 0 Downtown TNEP $ 200,000.00
23 0 Philander Smith TNEP $ 200,000.00
24 a Tornado Disaster #1 & #2 $ 200,000.00
25 [When officially designated]
26 Total Allocation: $1,000,000.00

1 SECTION 2. TNEP area funding designations will be in effect for a period of
2 six months from the date of this Resolution. At the end of this period, uncommitted
3 balances will be made available to support projects in any of the approved TNEP
4

SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
6 adoption.
