A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE JANUARY 21, 1999,
TORNADO AREA AS A DISASTER REBUILD TARGETED
NEIGHBORHOOD ENHANCEMENT PLAN (TNEP) AREA.

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Arkansas State Legislation creating the Targeted
Neighborhood Enhancement Plan (TNEP) Program, the designation of the area's boundaries
represents the initial step in creating the Disaster Rebuild TNEP Area Plan; and
WHEREAS, following development and adoption of the Disaster Rebuild TNEP Area Plan,
available local funds may be allocated to assist in housing revitalization activities within the TNEP
boundaries.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The resolution designates the area bounded by I -630 to 1 -30; I -30 to Roosevelt
Road; Roosevelt Road to Arch Street; Arch Street to the Railroad Tracks; the Railroad Tracks to
Summit; Summit to Roosevelt Road; Roosevelt Road to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive; Martin
Luther King Jr. Drive to 17' Street; 17' Street to Broadway, and Broadway to I -630 as the Disaster
Rebuild Targeted Neighborhood Enhancement Plan (TNEP) Area.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
