RESOLUTION NO. 10,554
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO 214
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR A NEW AFFORDABLE HOME
AT 2210 SINGLETON COVE IN PARKVIEW HILL
AFFORDABLE SUBDIVISION, LOCATED IN.. THE JOHN
BARROW AREA.
WHEREAS, the proposal is consistent with the City's HUD Consolidated Plan, which was
developed with extensive citizen participation, and identified the provision of standard, affordable
housing to low income persons as a high priority; and
WHEREAS, the CDBG and Housing Programs Division constructs new affordable single
family housing for sale to low - income persons; and
WHEREAS, three affordable homes on West 23rd Street, adjacent to Parkview Hill Affordable
Subdivision, have been completed and sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a with Jones & Mackey
Construction Company, LLC in the amount of $68,520 to construct a new affordable home at 2210
Singleton Cove in the Parkview Hill Affordable Subdivision located in the John Barrow area.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available from the Neighborhood Housing Services
(NHS) account.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
