CREATION OF THE KANIS ROAD DESIGN OVERLAY DISTRICT
STANDARDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 10,409 directed staff and the
°^ Little Rock Planning Commission to complete the Ranis Road

Overlay Design District Ordinances; and

v WHEREAS, the work on the Ranis Road Overlay District
S Ordinances is not yet complete; and

WHEREAS, the Board wished to express it's continued
" support and intent to create a Design Overlay District for

v the Kanis Road corridor.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AR.
SECTION 1. During the development of this plan, but
c not to exceed 70 days from the adoption of this Resolution,
the Director of Planning and the Planning Commission will
continue to work with interested parties to address the
y areas of concern raised by citizens.

SECTION 2. The Design Overlay District ordinance shall be
presented to the Board of Directors for action no later than
June 30, 1999.
