I.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEW CONTRACT WITH THE
PULASKI ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY ALLIANCE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City and the Pulaski Enterprise Community Alliance ( "PECA ") entered
into a one year contract to provide bonding and technical assistance to small businesses, which
expires February 28, 1999; and
WHEREAS, City staff and PECA representatives have now resolved issues preventing
full performance of this contract during the initial contract term, and City staff recommends that a
new contract be executed with PECA; and
WHEREAS, the original $131,000 from the 1998 budget to fund this contract remains
available to fund the new contract (Acct. No. 212 - 030 -0962 P.E.C.A.)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a new contract with P.E.C.A.
18 for one year at a price term of $131,000, with a possible additional one year term, subject to
19 appropriation and satisfactory contract performance as determined by the City. Pulaski County will
20 serve as the fiscal agent for this contract. Funds are available in Acct. No. 212 - 030 -0962 P.E.C.A.
