3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
4 TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH DELTA DENTAL
5 PLAN OF ARKANSAS FOR DENTAL COVERAGE FOR
6 CITY EMPLOYEES FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
7 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1999.

9 WHEREAS, Delta Dental Plan of Arkansas has provided dental insurance coverage to
10 City of Little Rock employees since its inception; and
11 WHEREAS, Delta Dental submitted a renewal proposal for coverage effective January
12 1, 1999.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the contract with Delta Dental
16 Plan of Arkansas for insurance coverage for City employees for a twelve month period
17 beginning January 1, 1999.
18 SECTION 2. Funding for this project has been included in the proposed 1999 budget.
19 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
