4 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
5 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, CERTIFYING LOCAL
GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF MULTIPLAS
6 CONTAINERS, INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ADVANTAGE
7 ARKANSAS PROGRAM.

10 WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to
11 participate in the Advantage Arkansas Program and benefit from the exemptions as
12 provided in the Advantage Arkansas Program Regulations of 1993 (formerly the
13
14 Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program); and
15 WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific forms available from
16 AIDC; and
17
18 WHEREAS, Multiplas Containers, Inc., located at 6600 Geyer Springs Road, has
19 been determined by the management of the Advantage Arkansas Program as an
20 appropriate applicant; and
21
22 WHEREAS, Multiplas Containers, Inc. has agreed to furnish to management of
23 the Advantage Arkansas Program all necessary information for compliance.
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
25
26 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
27 SECTION 1 -A. Multiplas Containers, Inc. shall be endorsed by the City of Little
28 Rock for benefit from the refunds and tax credits as provided in the Advantage Arkansas
29
30 Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999, including any local City gross
31 receipts and compensating use taxes.
32 SECTION 1 -B. The Department of Finance and Administration shall be
33
34 authorized to refund local sales and use taxes to Multiplas Containers, Inc.
35 SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the required Certificate of Local
36 Government Endorsement.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force from and after
its adoption and approval.
