RESOLUTION NO. 10,381
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE ARC
ARKANSAS TO PROVIDE $220,000 IN HOME
INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS TO
REHABILITATE 22 APARTMENT UNITS AT TRINITY
COURT PLACE APARTMENTS LOCATED AT 2000
SOUTH MAIN STREET.
WHEREAS; the proposal is consistent with the City's Consolidated Plan, which was
developed with extensive citizen participation, and identified the provision of standard,
affordable housing to low income persons including individuals exhibiting special needs as
having a high priority; and
WHEREAS; the project calls for rehabilitation of 22 affordable rental housing units
located at 2000 South Main Street for low income individuals or families, including special
19 needs clients; and
20 WHEREAS, total development cost of the project is $2,136,000 and The Arc Arkansas
21 has secured funding from First Commercial Bank, Arkansas Development Finance Authority,
22 the Federal Home Loan Bank, and federal and state tax credits.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
24 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
25 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with The Arc
26 Arkansas in the amount of $220,000 to rehabilitate 22 affordable rental housing units located
27 at 2000 South Main Street for low income individuals or families, including special needs
28 clients.
