6 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
7 TO ENTER INTO A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
8 WITH TURF DRAIN, INC. FOR THE REBSAMEN GOLF
9 COURSE REMODELING PROJECT.

11 WHEREAS, Little Rock and central Arkansas golf courses have experienced an
12 increase in participation and golfers expectations for quality golf; and
13 WHEREAS, staff has prepared analysis, developed strategies and implemented
14 improvements within existing budget operations over the past several years to improve
15 conditions at all golf facilities; and
16 WHEREAS, in light of the growing demand for quality golf and effects of the staff,
17 the Board providing funding for golf course improvements for all facilities through the sale
18 of Park Revenue Bonds.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
20 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
21 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Turf Drain,
22 Inc., in the amount of $1, 945,480.52 for the Rebsamen Golf Course Remodeling Project.
23 SECTION 2. Funding for this project will be available through the sale of Park
24 Revenue Bonds.
25 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
26 adoption.
