A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, CERTIFYING LOCAL
GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF NUVELL FINANCIAL
SERVICES CORPORATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to
participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program and benefit from the exemptions as
provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993, and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific forms available from
AIDC, and
WHEREAS, NuVell Financial Services Corporation, located at 17500 Chenal
Parkway, has been determined by the management of the Enterprise Zone as an
appropriate applicant, and
WHEREAS, NuVell Financial Services Corporation has agreed to furnish to
management of the Enterprise Zone all necessary information for compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 -A. NuVell Financial Services Corporation shall be endorsed by the
City of Little Rock for benefit from the refunds and tax credits as provided in the
Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999,
including any local City gross receipts and compensating use taxes.
SECTION 1 -B. The Department of Finance and Administration shall be
authorized to refund local sales and use taxes to NuVell Financial Services Corporation.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the required Certificate of Local
Government Endorsement.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force from and after
its adoption and approval.
