A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH UALR'S
MIDSOUTH CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP AND TRAINING
TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES TO
THE CITY'S PIT CONTRACTEES.
WHEREAS, the PIT Advisory Group surveyed the organizations contracted with the
City to provide prevention, intervention and treatment services and,
WHEREAS, the PIT Advisory Group recommends, based on the survey results, that
additional technical assistance services be made available to the contractees.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with UALR —
MIDSOUTH Center for Leadership and Training to provide technical assistance to the
organizations contracted with the City to provide prevention, intervention and treatment services.
SECTION 2. The contract will be for a one -year term, beginning on July 1, 1998 and
ending no later than June 30, 1999.
SECTION 3. The contract amount shall not exceed $80,000 and is to be funded with
1994 -1996 carryover PIT funds (Fund 213- 8500).
