3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
4 EXECUTE A DEED TO TRANSFER THE WEST ONE -HALF OF LOT 64,
5 BIRCHWOOD ADDITION TO DARIN A. DRENNAN AND SHERRY A.
6 DRENNAN IN EXCHANGE FOR A RIGHT -OF -WAY EASEMENT FOR
7 STORM DRAINS.
9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock purchased land for drainage control to prevent flooding;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, improvements are now complete and this excess property is not required; and
12 WHEREAS, an agreement was made with the Drennan to exchange this land for a right -of-
13 way easement on their land; and
14 WHEREAS, no funds will exchange hands and staff feels the transfer of the lot to the
15 adjacent property owner is in the best interest of the City since the property is not minimum lot size
16 per subdivision regulations.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute deeds transferring
20 ownership of excess land to the adjacent land owners, Darin a. Drennan and Sherry A. Drennan in
21 exchange for a right -of -way easement on their land.
