RESOLUTION NO. 10 , 322
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH E.S.
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$59,815 IN HOME FUNDS TO REHABILITATE A HOME
AT 908 LEWIS STREET, LOCATED IN THE LEWIS
STREET MODEL BLOCK.
WHEREAS, the proposal is consistent with the City's Consolidated Plan, which was
developed with extensive citizen participation, and identified the provision of standard, affordable
housing to low income persons as having a priority; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis Street Model Block was planned by the Stephens CDBG
Redevelopment Area Committee and recommended to the Board by the Consolidated Planning
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared plans, advertised bids and plans to contract with
E.S. Construction Company to rehabilitate a home at 908 Lewis Street for sale to a qualified,
low- income, first time home buyer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with E.S.
Construction Company to rehabilitate a home at 908 Lewis Street, located in the Lewis Street
Model Block.
SECTION 2. Funding in the amount of $59,815 for this project is available from the
HOME Program.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
