A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH STUCK ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE
ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES TO RENOVATE THE OLD
CENTRAL LIBRARY AT 700 LOUISIANA STREET.
WHEREAS, the City advertised for professional services and received proposals from nine
firms; and
WHEREAS, these proposals were reviewed by the selection committee and the Stuck firm
was selected based on their proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Stuck Associates,
the low bidder meeting specifications, to provide architectural/engineering services to renovate the
Ofd Central Library.
SECTION 2. Funding is from various grants, primarily the Department of Labor's Welfare
to Work competitive grant. An 8.5% fee has been established based on the State schedule for
construction cost.
