A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH FAMILY SERVICE
AGENCY FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OUTREACH AND
CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF
ONE YEAR EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1998.
WHEREAS, Family Service Agency is currently a provider of outreach and crisis
intervention services to the City for victims of domestic violence through a contract which expires
on June 30, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the current contract between the City and Family Service Agency allows for
the exercise of a one -year renewal of the contract; and
WHEREAS, Family Service Agency seeks to continue providing outreach services for an
additional year to victims of domestic violence at the current annual contract amount which is not
to exceed $38,198.20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to renew the contract with Family Service
Agency for outreach services to victims of domestic violence for a one year period effective July
1, 1998.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project has been included in the 1998 budget.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
