RESOLUTION NO. 10,305
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE
EXTENSION OF SEWER SERVICE TO
THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE ACADEMY
LOCATED AT 9213 ARCH STREET PIKE.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Wastewater Utility has agreed to install a
wastewater pumping station to serve the Little Rock Police Academy through a
connection to the landfill force main; and
WHEREAS, Little Rock Wastewater Utility will procure all equipment and
perform all construction necessary for a complete installation; and
WHEREAS, the alignment of the proposed force main is largely parallel to the
force main installed to serve the City of Little Rock Landfill; and
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement has been executed for joint use of
the facility by the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Wastewater Utility; and
WHEREAS, construction of this sewer service will fill a vital need for the
Police Academy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Board of Directors are hereby authorized to
extend sewer service to the Little Rock Police Academy located on Arch Street Pike
per the Memorandum of Agreement executed on December 31, 1996.
