A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION
NO. 10,267 (MAY 5, 1998) TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO CONTRACTS WITH THREE ADDITIONAL
ORGANIZATIONS FOR SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM SERVICES IN
AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $60,000; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, providers for summer youth program services were solicited through a Request for
Proposals bid process; and,
WHEREAS, a Selection Committee reviewed the responses received, determined the lowest
responsive and responsible bidders, and recommended 18 providers for contract awards; and,
WHEREAS, due to the unexpected availability of 1997 unexpended PIT funds it is possible to
fund all of the providers whose bids were deemed responsive and responsible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section I of Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 10,267 is hereby amended to
authorize the City Manager to enter into contracts, subject to negotiation by the City Attorney, for an
additional $60,000 with:
19. Institute for Community Based Rehabilitation ($20,000)
20. Anderson's Taekwondo($20,000)
21. Pankey Community Improvement Association ($20,000)
The term of the contracts shall be from July I, 1998, through August 31, 1998.
SECTION 2. Funding is available from 1997 P.I.T.
