HomeMy WebLinkAbout102681 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 RESOLUTION NO. 10,268 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LANDMARK BUILDING GRANT PROGRAM AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTIAL INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM, AS TO THEIR FORMAT, CRITERIA, REVIEW AND ADMINISTRATION. WHEREAS, the Mayor's Task Force on Historic Preservation was formed in 1996 to address City preservation issues; and WHEREAS, recommendations were made that addressed various aspects of revitalizing the city's older and urban neighborhoods (housing, infrastructure, etc.) by using preservation techniques; and WHEREAS, one of the Task Force recommendations was the creation of two grant programs; and WHEREAS, the Board created two grants in 1997 (Landmark Building and Neighborhood Residential Incentive) which are oriented towards neighborhood historic preservation projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to approve the Landmark Building Grant Program and the Neighborhood Residential Incentive Grant Program as to their format, criteria, review and administration. SECTION 2.
