WHEREAS, Providers for summer youth program services were solicited through a Request for Proposals bid process; and, WHEREAS, a Selection Committee reviewed the responses received, determined the lowest responsible bidders, and recommends 18 providers for contract awards. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contracts, subject to negotiation by the City Attorney, for a total of $291,958, with: 1. Central Arkansas Library System - Bookmobile ($4,478) 2. UAMS Child Study Center Community Outreach Program, AR Children's Hospital ($6,535) 3. Little Rock School District — Total Teen Tale Troope ($11,160) 4. City of Little Rock, Parks & Recreation — Dunbar Garden Project ($12,360) 5. Urban League of Arkansas ($13,260) 6. Black Community Developers, Inc. ($13,936) 7. The Shepherd's Ranch ($17,003) 8. Quapaw Area Council Boy Scouts of America ($17,013) 9. UAMS - AR Cares ($17,751) 10. Little Rock School District — Capitol View /Stifft Station Youth Summer Program ($19,420) 11. Catherine's House ($19,566) 12. Let Our Violence End - L.O.V.E. ($19,722) 13. Recovery 2005 ($19,754) 14. Camp Aldersgate ($20,000) 15. Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp ($20,000) 16. Step Up Center ($20,000) 17. Ouachita Girl Scout Council ($20,000) 18. Little Rock School District — Youth Employment Center ($20,000) The term of the contracts shall be from May 15, 1998, through August 31, 1998. SECTION 2. Funding is available from P.I.T.
