A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPPOINTENTS TO THE CITY SAFETY
COMMISSION, COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE, HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION,
OAKLAND FRATERNAL CEMETERY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, RACIAL AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY
COMMISSION, AND THE SISTER CITIES
COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named persons are hereby
appointed or reappointed as members of the respective Boards
and Commissions:
(a) CITY SAFETY COMMISSION
Ms. Linda Factor, reappointed to a three year term
expiring January 2, 2001.
Mr. M. C. Peevy, appointed to a three year term,
replacing Mr. Rodger Terrell, said term expiring
January 2, 2001.
(b) COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Mayor Jim Dailey, appointed to fill the unexpired term
of Director Michael Keck, said term expiring November
1, 1998.
(c) HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
Ms. Judith Gardner (Resident Property Owner), appointed
to a three year term, replacing Mr. John Bush, said
term expiring June 15, 2001.
Mr. Mark Zoeller (Quapaw Quarter Association),
appointed to a three year term, replacing Ms. Julie
Wiedower, said term expiring June 15, 2001.
(d) OAKLAND FRATERNAL CEMETERY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The following individuals are hereby reappointed to
three year terms expiring June 1, 2001:
Mr. Jerome Hamner
Mr. Morris Parker
Ms. Barbara Rogers
Ms. Elizabeth Roper
(e) RACIAL AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION
Mr. Thomas Choi (Ward 7 representative), appointed to a
three year term expiring March 3, 2001.
(f) SISTER CITIES COMMISSION
Mr..Albert Porter, reappointed to a five year term
expiring 2003.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
