RESOLUTION NO. 10.263'
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN
SUPPORT OF THE RIVER MOUNTAIN NEIGHBORHOOD
ACTION PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE'S REQUEST FOR
REVIEW OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK'S EXISTING
EXCAVATION AND BUFFER ORDINANCES.
WHEREAS, the Neighborhood formed a Planning
Committee to develop a Neighborhood Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Committee recognizes the importance of
preserving and maintaining the existing landscape; and,
WHEREAS, the Committee maintains that development
can occur and be environmentally friendly; and,
WHEREAS, the Committee requests staff appointment to
the review of the City's existing land alteration
ordinances; and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has
passed a resolution of support for the ordinance review.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock does support the River Mountain Steering
Committee's request for review of the existing land
alteration ordinances.
