• RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
• CONTRACT WITH GRIMES CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $37,026 TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF BLACK ROAD FROM CANTRELL ROAD TO
PANKEY AVENUE, UTILIZING CDBG § 108 LOAN FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the project is consistent with the City's Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, $37,026 was allocated by the Board in the CDBG §108 Loan Funds for
engineering and construction of the described package of public facilities improvements in the
Pankey area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Grimes
Consulting Engineers, Inc., the most qualified bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to
exceed $37,026 to provide engineering services for the reconstruction of Black Street from Cantrell
Road Pankey Avenue.
SECTION 2: Funding in the amount of $37,026 will be available for engineering from the
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) § 108 Loan Funds and is budgeted in Account No,
215- 220 -0682. No funds may be expended until the loan proceeds are actually in possession of the
City.
