HomeMy WebLinkAbout10237158 RESOLUTION NO. 10,237 A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO UTILIZE FEDERAL AID MONIES FOR DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM UPGRADE (LITTLE ROCK). WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock understands Federal Aid Surface Transportation Program Attributable funds are available for certain City projects at the following federal participating ratios: Federal Share 80% - City Match 20 %. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City will participate in accordance with its designated responsibilities in this project. SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction of this City project. SECTION 3. The City pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate action to implement this project. SECTION 4. Funding in the amount of $337,500 will be appropriated by a separate ordinance from the 1998 Revenue Bond Fund as the City match for federal aid monies.
