RESOLUTION NO. 10 9
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO INITIATE EMINENT DOMAIN
PROCEEDINGS ON PROPERTIES THE CITY NEEDS
TO ACQUIRE FOR THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS
TRANSIT AUTHORITY BUS TRANSFER FACILITY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Central Arkansas Transit Authority has identified an area in
central Little Rock to be used as a bus transfer facility, and
WHEREAS, the City intends to acquire this property through the use of its
eminent domain powers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Attorney is authorized the initiate eminent domain
proceedings necessary to acquire the property needed for a Central Arkansas Transit
Authority bus transfer station within central Little Rock in an area determined by the
CATA Board of Directors.
