Me WHEREAS, on September 9, 1997, the Little Rock Board of Directors adopted Little Rock Resolution No. 10,074 which placed a ninety (90) day moratorium on the acceptance and processing of wireless communications facilities ( "WCF ") permits; and WHEREAS, during the ninety day period City staff has received numerous comments and suggestions from the public concerning the draft ordinance that was attached to the resolution and distributed to the public; and WHEREAS, the City is still receiving input from the public on the proposed WCF regulations but the Planning Commission has not had an opportunity to review and make a recommendation on the ordinance; and WHEREAS, the matter has been placed on the December 18, 1997, Planning Commission Agenda for consideration; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the moratorium be extended until January 15, 1998, to allow time for Planning Commission review and recommendation and Board of Directors' approval of the WCF regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The moratorium on the placement of WCF permit applications on the Planning Commission agenda is hereby extended to January 15, 1998. SECTION 2.
