3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND
4 LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION 9,897 (January 21,1997)
5 TO ADD RWL CONTRACTORS, INC., AS ONE OF THE
6 NAMED PARTNERS IN A PROGRAM TO DEVELOP
7 AFFORDABLE HOMES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City approved a program, consistent with the City's Consolidated
10 Plan, to use Affordable Home funds to purchase affordable homes in the Parkview Hill
11 Subdivision, and
12 WHEREAS, this contract was originally with Homeownership Partners of Arkansas,
13 Inc., ("Homeownership Partners ") a corporation that was to use RWL Contractors, Inc., as
14 a contractor to build these homes, and was to have another partner to assist in obtaining
15 additional financing, and
16 WHEREAS, Homeownership Partners has had trouble obtaining financing, but can
17 go forward with this program if RWL Contractors, Inc., is also listed as a partner with an
18 interest in the property, and
19 WHEREAS, the addition of this named partner is consistent with the City's
20 Consolidated Plan and the Board's desire to have up to sixteen (16) affordable homes built,
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
22 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. Sections 1, 2 and 3 of Little Rock, Ark., Resolution 9897 (January 21,
24 1997) are hereby amended to note that the agreements are to be with Homeownership
25 Partners of Arkansas and RWL Contractors, Inc., for the various purposes set forth in the

resolution, and the Ma *, City Manager and City Clerk authorized to execute any
documents necessary to reflect this fact.
