• RESOLUTION NO. 10.093
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE FIRM OF WRIGHT, LINDSEY &
JENNINGS AS BOND COUNSEL FOR THE PROPOSED $16,000,000
STREET/DRAINAGE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN ENGAGEMENT
LETTER.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have bond counsel to work with the City to perform legal
work to assure the issuance of bonds for the $16,000,000 Street/Drainage Capital Improvement
Revenue Bond issue; and
WHEREAS, the City requested proposals from qualified law firms to handle this legal
work; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed by a review committee selected in accordance
with City ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the committee has concluded that the law firm of Wright, Lindsey &
Jennings is the most qualified to handle this legal work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The law firm of Wright, Lindsey & Jennings is appointed to act as bond
counsel to the City in connection with a proposed Street/Drainage Capital Improvement
Revenue Bond Issue.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Letter of
Engagement with the Wright, Lindsey & Jennings law firm.
