A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO ALESSI -KEYES FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING FOR THE SOLID WASTE
COLLECTION OPERATIONS AT THE SOLID WASTE FACILITY.
WHEREAS, this construction is part of a strategic plan to improve operations of the
City's solid waste services; and
WHEREAS, this building at the Solid Waste Facility will simplify daily operations by
centralizing all solid waste functions at one location resulting in improved efficiency and
effectiveness.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract
to Alessi- Keyes, the low bidder meeting specifications, in the amount of $514,800
($468,000 + 10% contingency) for construction of a building at the Solid Waste Facility for
the Solid Waste Collections operations.
SECTION 2. Funding is available in he Solid Waste Revenue Bond fund.
