A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ALLOCATE $100,000 FROM THE ZOO CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT ACCOUNT TO THE ZOO IMPROVEMENT
ACCOUNT.

WHEREAS, the Zoo Capital Improvement Account was established in 1982 to receive funds
from Zoo gate admissions; and
WHEREAS, this account is dedicated to Zoo improvements; and
WHEREAS, the current allocation would be utilized to make improvements necessary for
accessibility under the Americans With Disabilities Act ( "ADA "), including but not limited to
restrooms, gift shop, education building, seating, walkways and other improvements to include HVAC
upgrades, exhibits and landscaping.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to allocate $100,000 from the Zoo Capital
Improvements Account, 210- 230 -0185 to the Zoo Improvement Account, 210- 230 -0209.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
