HomeMy WebLinkAbout10031RESOLUTION NO. 10,031 M = M M A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE VICTORY, GARLAND AND COVE STREETS BETWEEN NORTH STREET AND THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY IN THE ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 21st day of July, 1997, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of Victory, Garland, and Cove Streets between,North Street and the Union Pacific Railroad right- of -way, abutting Blocks 362 and 338 of the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said Original City, now appearing of record in Plat Book I, page 323, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 19th day of August r 19 97• SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
