RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY OF THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS LIBRARY
SYSTEM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LIBRARY AND THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by Little Rock Resolution No. 9,890 (Jan. 7, 1997), the City was
authorized to sell certain property of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) to Fred
Gray, his heirs or assignees, such property deemed as not needed for the development of the
new library facility; and
WHEREAS, prior to the transfer of the property, Fred Gray has entered into an
agreement to develop the property with other individuals who were not named as grantees in
LRR 9,890 and should be added as grantees by this resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute any documents
necessary to convey the interest of the City to Fred Gray, Tim Heiple, Jim Nosari and Jimmy
Moses in the following described real property:
Parts of Lots 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 and 12, Block 36, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 36; thence South 89° 17' 04"
West along the North line of Block 36 a distance of 96.20 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 00 °34'06" East 104.65 feet;
thence South 89 °16'13" West 37.40 feet; thence North 01 °44'16" East
4.90 feet; thence South 89° 19'29" West 18.76 feet; thence South
01 027'04" East 29.94 feet; thence South 89 022'31" West 47.91 feet;
thence North 00 °48'58" West 124.62 feet to said North line of Block 36;
thence North 89° 17'04" East along said North line 104.04 feet to POINT
OF BEGINNING containing 11,730 square feet or 0.269 acres, more or
less.
