A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO JOYNER-
FORD-BURKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET AND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS IN CLOVERDALE SUBDIVISION -PHASE
11, A 1995 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will complete the last phase of comprehensive drainage
improvements to an area in which 75 homes were flooded during the 1978 flood.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED IIY TI -IE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract to Joyner -
Ford -Burke Construction Company, the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to
exceed $2,140, 609 ($1,946,008.37 + 10% contingency) for construction of street and drainage
improvements in Cloverdale Subdivision - Phase 11, a 1995 Capital Improvement Bond Project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in account number J01-220-0396.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in fill force and effect. from and after its adoption.
