A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY AIIA NAG ER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO GENE
SUM011ERS CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF IMPROVEMENTS TO WEST 26TH STREET FROM
ABIGAIL TO JEFFERSON, A 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT. .
WHEREAS, this project will widen the existing street to 27 feet with curb and gutter,
sidewalks, and underground storm drainage facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract to Gene
Summers Construction, Inc., the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed
$196,900 ($179,000.11 + 10% contingency) for Construction improvements to West 26th Street
from Abigail to Jefferson, a 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available in account number 301 -220 -0061.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
