A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 'THE DEDICATION OF LAND FRONT
MARVIN ISKOWITZATN' ES "r65THSTREE'I'ANDBROOKVIEWROAD,
ADJACENT'TO HINDMAN PARK ENTRANCE.
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation worked with the property owner to determine if a
donation would be mutually advantageous; and
WHEREAS, an evaluation was initiated to determine if the land would contribute to the
overall effectiveness and quality of Hindman Park, and
WHEREAS, no adverse impact to the maintenance operations was determined and
acceptance of the land would allow for a better butler and secure the property from undesirable
developments between the park and residences, and
WHEREAS, an environmental assessment was conducted and the property is fi-ee from
hazardous conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, 131: IT RESOLVED 13l' THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. The City Manager is authorized to accept the dedication of approximately one
acre of land located at Vest 65th Street and Brookview Road adjacent to the Hindman Park
entrance.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
