3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO NABHOLTZ
5 BUILDING MANAGEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,396,165

7 FOR RENOVATION OF THE TERMINAL BUILDING (500
8 EAST MARKHAM STREET) FOR THE NEW ARKANSAS
9 MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY.

11 WHEREAS, Resolution Number 9,656 (April 2, 1996) authorized the City Manager to
12
13 allocate Future - Little Rock funding and award contracts for design exhibit services for the New
14 Museum of Science and History.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids and award a contract to
18 Nabholtz Building Management, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed
19
20 $2,396,165 for renovation of the terminal building (500 East Markham Street) for the new Museum
21 of Science and History.
22 SECTION 2. Funding for this purpose is available from Special Project Account number
23 210- 230 -0332.
24 SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
