A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH ARKANSAS ENTERPRISES FOR THE
DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED (AEDD) TO
PROVIDE $56,587 IN HOME FUNDS TO
PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR
SPECIAL NEEDS CLIENTS.

WHEREAS, Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally
Disabled has a proven track record of providing affordable
housing for special needs clients; and
WHEREAS, this project specifically involves the relocation
and rehabilitation of one structure to accommodate three (3)
individuals with disabilities and one (1) live in caregiver;
and
WHEREAS, the proposal is consistent with the City's
Consolidated Plan, which was developed with extensive citizen
participation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an
agreement with Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally
Disabled (AEDD) to provide $56,587 in HOME funds to provide
affordable housing for special needs clients.
SECTION 2. Funding for this purpose is available from the
HOME Investment Partnership Program.
