A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT TO JACK JENNINGS FIRE &
SAFETY EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
A HAZMAT RESCUE TRUCK AND A 1500
G.P.M. TRIPLE COMBINATION FIRE
PUMPER TRUCK FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
FIRE DEPARTMENT.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Jack Jennings Fire and Safety Equipment
of Marianna, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in
an amount not to exceed $395,958 for the purchase of a Hazmat
Rescue Truck for the Little Rock Fire Department.
SECTION .2. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Jack Jennings Fire and Safety Equipment
of Marianna, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in
an amount not to exceed $266,438 for the purchase of a Triple
Combination Fire Truck for the Little Rock Fire Department.
SECTION 3. Funds are available for these purchases in
account number 600 - 360 - 6020 -7060.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
