A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ( 485
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT TO INACOM INFORMATION
SYSTEMS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
COMPUTER NETWORK SYSTEM FOR THE CITY
ATTORNEY'S OFFICE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Inacom Information Systems of Little
Rock, Arkansas, in an amount not to exceed $89,173 for a
computer network system for the City Attorney's office.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purchase in account
number 210 - 040 - 0415 -7120.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

RECOMMENDATION AND DISCUSSION: It is recommended that the bid from Inacom
be accepted. A pre -bid conference was held prior to issuing specifications for this bid and
eight (8) vendors attended helping develop the specifications. Most of the vendors indicated
that they would respond to the bid, however, Inacom was the only one to bid.
