RESOLUTION NO. 9,705
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE 1996 STREET
RESURFACING PROGRAM FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Cranford Construction of North Little
Rock, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in. an
amount not to exceed $1,608,771.40 which is reduced to funds
available ($1,482,243) for the 1996 street resurfacing program.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 210 - 220 -0293 and from the 1995 Capital Improvement Bonds.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
