A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY

MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT TO HARRIS CONSTRUCTION

MANAGEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WHEEL

CHAIR ACCESS RAMPS CONTRACT II (WEST

OF BROADWAY) FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS

WHEREAS, this project will construct access ramps at
10
various locations west of Broadway.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Harris Construction Management of Little
14
Rock, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an
15
amount not to exceed $336,400, ($305,815 plus 10$ contingency)
16
for construction of wheel chair access ramps Contract II (West
17
of Broadway) for the Public Works Department.
18
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 210 - 220 -0506.
19
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
20
effect from and after its adoption.
