A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT TO HARRIS CONSTRUCTION
MANAGEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WHEEL
CHAIR ACCESS RAMPS CONTRACT I (EAST
OF BROADWAY) FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, this project will construct access ramps at
various locations east of Broadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Harris Construction Management of Little
Rock, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an
amount not to exceed $179,000, ($162,745 plus 10% contingency)
for construction of wheel chair access ramps Contract I (East of
Broadway) for the Public Works Department.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 210 - 220 - 0485/0506 -8020.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
