RESOLUTION NO. 9,630
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXCHANGE
OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE LAKE
MAU2SELLE WATERSHED, DESIGNATED FOR
THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE LITTLE
ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS;
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Municipal Water Works Board of
Commissioners approved the exchange of one parcel of property in
the Lake Maumelle watershed for another parcel also located
within the Lake's watershed owned by James A. and Barbara L.

property is closer to Lake Maumelle and is more crucial for
protection of water quality; and
WHEREAS, with the land exchange the Water Works will
receive the acreage closest to Lake Maumelle; and
WHEREAS, restrictive covenants will be placed on the 40
acre parcel to prevent pollution of the raw water source.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to approve the
exchange of real property in the Lake Maumelle Watershed.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to
